Don took an old dining room table and transformed it into a kitchen island. New legs were created and a vegetable sink was installed.

Before and after pictures of the Murdock project.  Don relocated the basement stairs (in the corner of the before picture) to another area, leaving room for additional counter space.  He opened the wall between the kitchen and dining room to provide more light and the illusion of more space in a small home.

Here, Don removed the old cabinetry and designed, built and installed the new cabinets and countertops.  He also hung and finished the drywall to cover the old plaster walls.  He laid new flooring and installed canned lights as well as under-counter lighting.

Creating additional space - Don removed a wall, exposing an unused covered porch. The additional space allows for a breakfast table and more windows.  He designed and built the cabinets and countertops to finish off the project.  What a difference it made in this house!

A complete kitchen remodel in West Asheville.  An exterior door was closed off, a dining room wall was removed, the hardwood floor was replaced as well as new cabinets.  Pictures are taken before painting was complete

A complete kitchen remodel in Candler.  The layout of this kitchen was changed completely making use of a lot of under utilized space.  Plumbing was moved to relocate the sink from an interior wall to a kitchen island.  The entrance to the dining room was expanded.  New lighting and much more.........

This is one job that we are lucky to get photos after the painting was complete!  These before and after photos show how a little bit of imagination can transform an old and tired kitchen into a place where you will enjoy cooking and entertaining.
